Interim Pastor

The Reverend Libby Rollins began serving as Interim Pastor at Lynnhaven in February of 2019. A native of Birmingham, Alabama, she holds a Bachelor of Arts from Presbyterian College in Clinton, S.C., and a Master of Divinity from Columbia Theological Seminary in Decatur, GA. She was ordained as a Minister of Word and Sacrament in the Presbyterian Church USA in 1998.

Throughout her years of ministry she has felt a strong calling to assist congregations in a time of transition by helping them listen to where God is calling them, cast a vision, and articulate a plan to move forward. She began serving in interim/transitional ministry in 2001, and has since served 9 congregations in Alabama and Virginia during their search for a Pastor.

She is a member of the Transitional Ministry Educational Consortium, a group of Pastors across the country who serve the denomination by teaching classes at seminaries and retreat centers about change, transition, and leadership. She has been involved with this group since 2009 and has taught in North Carolina, Georgia, Virginia, New Jersey, New York.
